At Actium BioSystems, we are aggressively working on developing new technology to
treat cancer through the development of innovative treatments that use nanoparticles
to weaken and destroy cancer cells. To succeed, we have assembled a highly qualified team of top scientists dedicated to the cause, built a state-of-the-art electronics laboratory, and designed and built successful prototypes of a revolutionary electromagnetic illumination device.

From this work we have developed an extensive Intellectual Property Portfolio that includes eight pending patents encompassing a wide region of this emerging platform technology. We have also defined our first product, the Actium Cancer Treatment System (ACT) to support and enhance the effectiveness of chemotherapy and ionizing radiation therapy in treating cancer.

Heat weakens and kills cancer. Applying low temperature heat to cancer, referred to as Hyperthermia, can have a significant debilitating effect and even kill cancer cells while having minimal or no effect on healthy tissue.

By using a results-oriented strategy, in only a few short months, Actium has made a remarkable amount of progress. We have confirmed the potential of our treatment and discovered new scientific concepts that have the potential to make a significant impact on the treatment of cancer.

Actium has built a state-of-the-art electromagnetics laboratory in Boulder, Colorado with the necessary tools to characterize and illuminate nanoparticles and measure their heating response to harmless electromagnetic energy.
